Arsenal and Islington Council host five-a-side to highlight threat of domestic abuse spike ahead of World Cup

Last Wednesday saw a well-attended five-a-side tournament organised by Islington Council and Arsenal In The Community to bring attention to the potential rise in domestic abuse during this year’s World Cup.

There was robust support at the event from Councillors, Police, council officers from across the authority, and the Arsenal Community Foundation. Front line service agencies, like Solace Women's Aid, also attended the charity match and held stands at the event.
