Supporter Organisations
White Ribbon Supporter Organisations have less than 100 staff or members, their annual turnover/budget revenue is less than £1m, and they pay a fee of £120 plus vat.
Over a 3-year period, they commit to seven actions to prevent violence against women and girls in their communities, inspiring people to be changemakers, signposting people to find help and holding a fundraiser for White Ribbon UK to do important work.
White Ribbon Supporter Organisation Seven Actions:
1. Encourage people to wear a White Ribbon and make the White Ribbon Promise to never use, excuse or remain silent about men’s violence against women.
2. Select a designated Lead Contact who completes their registration to become a White Ribbon Ambassador or Champion.
3. Encourage staff/members and people in your community to consider registering to become a White Ribbon Ambassador or Champion.
4. Show that you support White Ribbon by displaying the Supporter Organisation badge on your website, email signatures and in public places.
5. Raise awareness all year round & mark White Ribbon Day on 25th November each year. *
6. Have policies and guidelines in place that protect staff and support them if they experience harassment, abuse and violence.*
7. Ensure people know where they can get help and support by sharing information among staff, through signage and online.*
*Free resources and information will be available on the Supporter Organisations Hub.
