Advocating for safer cultures for women and girls

We are very concerned about reports of misconduct and mismanagement within South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

White Ribbon UK exists to end problematic, abusive and misogynistic male cultures to prevent violence against women before it starts. Our approach is to positively transform these attitudes and promote a culture of equality and respect for women where men understand not to use violence, excuse violence or remain silent about violence.

We have suspended South Wales Fire and Rescue Service’s Accreditation, pending a review.

Our thoughts are with the victims, and with those who live in fear of abuse and violence.
